My Jersey Roots

Millstone, New Jersey
Land Camera 250 and Classic SX-70
FP-3000b, FP-100c and PX 70 Color Shade COOL!

I'm originally from a very small town in central New Jersey. My backyard is the woods and I live next to many different horse farms and corn fields. I have never photographed my hometown with instant film and I fully enjoyed it. I also shoot one roll of Kodak Portra film and I am excited to get it developed. I had a wonderful, short trip home and looking forward to going back in the fall for Thanksgiving.

Using Impossible PZ film in a Polaroid 95A

Justin Goode wrote an amazing article on how you can place Impossible Project PZ 680 film inside a Polaroid 95A camera! Above Goode's portrait using this new technique, click on the photo and read his article.

Can't wait to try this out for myself!

Raw Natural Born Artist Interview

Calm After the Storm

Chicago, Illinois
Polaroid Land Camera 250
FP-3000b and FP-100c

After today's rain storm Rachel and I walked to the lake front and photographed under the dark grey cloudy sky. I haven't shot with black and white film in awhile and I am so glad I did! Nothing brings me back down to earth then taking my land camera out to the lake with Rachel. Rough day, lovely afternoon.

Vintage Bazaar

Chicago, Illinois
PX 100 Silver Shade
Classic Polaroid Land Camera

My friend Sarah and I went to Vintage Bazaar today, which is a flea market in Andersonville every month in the summer time. Even for the middle of August it felt like a cloudy October day, I loved it! And I couldn't be happier I brought my SX-70. Everyone was coming up to me and asking about my camera and I must have spread the word about my job and Impossible Project at least a dozen times. I ended up getting a $5 camera case, vintage flower print laptop case (originally for storing paperwork in luggage), and free shoes from the 60s for giving Polaroid advice! Great day.

German Poem

So take my hand and lead me into my blissful and eternally end. I do not want to walk a single step alone: Where you will walk and stand / Take me there.

I found this German poem in a pile of old photographs from the forties at work. Anthony let me keep it and my friends from Germany helped me translated it.

Found expired Polaroid color film inside a 215 Land Camera at A&A Studios. The shutter ended up not working so no image could be made but I enjoyed the odd shape and colors the chemicals made.
